The Technovit®2200 series brings out a further product line for quality assurance and materials testings.
These products professionally assists to solve difficult materialographic problems which usually are very time consuming.
Area of application
Based on the material properties, this product range can be used for:
• Filling up of micro gaps and drill holes
• Fixation of micro electronical parts
• Coating of damageable parts
• Achieving contrast by working with Technovit® 2000 LC
• Stabilisation of corrosion layers
• Stabilisation for cutting processes
• Protection for vanish and other materials which will alter during during embedding
The application of these materials is very uncomplicated. After cleaning the specimen with ethanol,
the appropriate Technovit products are applied with a brush, spatula or direct from the syringe.
Applications has to be done in thin layers to correspond to the curing depth of the materials (refer to the technical datas).
For larger specimen, it is neccessary to work in several layers. To achieve a lower viscosity, it is possible to warm up
the materials by a heating plate or hair dryer).
