TBS offers a combination of six disposable microtome blades to meet all of your sectioning needs.

 

SHUR/Sharp™ high and low profile blades are available to fit any high or low profile blade holder you prefer. These blades feature 

a Teflon coating to reduce compression.

 

SHUR/Sharp™ PLUS high and low profile blades are manufactured from a premium grade steel with the TBS advant 'edge.' State 

of the art grinding, honing and strapping equipment produce flawless edges. Proprietary coating process minimizes compression 

and produces excellent ribbons. 'PLUS' is the perfect selection when ultra thin sections are required or when working with difficult 

tissues.

 

For 20 years, TBS blades have set the standard for cutting frozen sections. Standard blades (DMB) are ideal for routine tissue 

samples and heavy duty blades (DMB-HD) are available for cutting more difficult tissues & frozens. Both require TBS' patented SHUR/Sharp™ blade holder (DMBH).
